Ole Miss Falls To East Carolina, 65-58

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - East Carolina used balanced scoring to rally from a halftime deficit to beat Mississippi 65-58 on Sunday.

Erroyl Bing, Gabriel Mikulas and Derrick Wiley each scored 11 to lead the Pirates (2-0), while Travis Holcomb-Faye added 10. Bing hit 5-of-5 shots and had six rebounds.

Aaron Harper had 15 points and seven rebounds for Mississippi (0-1) before fouling out. Derrick Allen and Justin Reed had 11 apiece and David Sanders added 10.

Mississippi led 27-24 at halftime after leading by as much as six in the first half.

Jonathan Moore hit a 3-pointer at 15:33 to tie the score at 32 and Moussa Badiane hit a lay-up at 14:43 to give East Carolina the lead for good, pushing ahead by as much as 9.

Badiane had 7 points, five blocks and five rebounds.
